Heritage relationships, modern delivery.

Preserving trust.
Building the practice of the future.

Eliot Bridge carries the legacy of trusted accounting practices forward — keeping the people and relationships that built them, while bringing technology automation and AI agents to the work.

Our Approach

Not AI replacing people. And not a spreadsheet exercise.

Two kinds of buyers usually come knocking. One wants to replace your team with software. The other wants to buy low, cut, and flip. Eliot Bridge is a third option — operators who believe the trust you've built is the whole point, and that technology should make the work better, not erase the people who do it.

An afterthought

Yes, AI will change the way accounting work is done. But it will not replace the trusted relationships you've built. Our team helps you take care of both halves: keep the trust, and modernize the work — heritage relationships, modern delivery.

For Practice Owners

Your practice's next chapter, on your terms.

Many great practices are led by owners thinking about what comes next in the age of AI — for themselves and for everyone who depends on them. Becoming an AI-ready practice shouldn't mean handing your life's work to someone who will gut it. When you partner with Eliot Bridge, the things you spent decades building don't disappear. They get a bigger stage.

  • Your name continues.

The reputation you built keeps standing for something.

  • Your clients are cared for.

The service they trust carries on, and gets better.

  • Your team has a future.

Your people join a larger platform with more room to grow.

  • Your standards hold.

We modernize how the work gets done, not the care behind it.

There's no single way to do this. Two common paths:

A clean handoff

You're ready for your next chapter. We take the reins, look after your people and clients, and carry the practice forward.

Partner and stay invested

You're not done yet. You join us, keep a stake in what comes next, and help build the larger platform — with our team running the modern back end.

What We Do

Trusted repetitive work, brought up to date.

We automate the unglamorous, mission-critical work that clients depend on. And we make it smoother with modern tools, without losing the human touch that makes clients stay.

  4. Embedded services

how-we-modernize

  1. Automated workflows, end to end.

Modern software runs the repetitive work — automated payables, transaction categorization, receipt and invoice matching, reconciliations, and a faster monthly close — so our people can spend their time on judgment, not data entry.

  2. AI agents that work alongside people.

AI agents draft the work and flag the exceptions, with a human always in the loop. Not a replacement, but a force multiplier for the relationship.

  3. More we can offer clients.

As relationships deepen, practices can offer more: controller and FP&A support, budgeting and forecasting, payroll, treasury services, and CFO-level guidance. This allows clients to grow with us instead of outgrowing the practice.

Modern AI Agentic Loops With People At The Center

Accounting agents that get sharper every close.

We don't bolt AI onto the old way of working. We build agents that draft the work — categorization, reconciliations, tax returns, &c. — and keep our people in the loop to review and decide. Every correction people make becomes structured evidence that improves agents for the next month.

  1. Agents draft the work

Agents read the messy source material (bank feeds, invoices, receipts, prior-year filings) and draft entries, categorizations, reconciliations, and returns, with every value cited back to its source.

  2. Our people review and decide

Our practitioners approve or correct what the agent proposes. Human judgment stays in charge of everything that reaches a client. Nothing ships without an expert sign-off.

  3. Corrections become evidence

Each edit is captured as a structured trace. A context graph linking source document to extracted field to provenance to final output. So the system knows not just what changed, but why.

  4. Patterns become AI evaluations

Recurring corrections are grouped and turned into targeted AI evaluations. A clear, measurable hill to climb; separating real gaps from ordinary workflow noise.

  5. The system improves, then repeats

Validated fixes ship behind human review, and each improvement creates fresh evidence for the next cycle. The work compounds: measurably better every month, not static software.

Wilfried (Wil) Eyi

Wilfried (Wil) Eyi

Managing Partner & CPO

Wil has spent his career between finance and technology. He started in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and went on to private equity at Warburg Pincus. He then founded and ran two software companies backed by Y Combinator and other leading investors. Along the way he worked hands-on with hundreds of SMB owners and built products on top of the accounting platforms these businesses run on. That's where the Eliot Bridge thesis came from: for small businesses, trusted service beats the best software — and the practices that pair that trust with modern tools will win. Wil holds a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Tanner Payne

Tanner Payne, CPA

General Partner & CEO

Tanner is an operator who has built and scaled a services business firsthand. He began in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, worked at PetSmart to help them scale post acquisition, and at McKinsey as a consultant. He then became CEO of a multi-family maintenance platform that he grew across more than a dozen states and into new service lines — earning recognition among the fastest-growing private companies in the DFW region. He knows how to acquire, integrate, and grow service businesses without losing what makes them work. Tanner holds a B.S. and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a licensed CPA.
